Searching for Answers

You have arrived. And I welcome you here.

Perhaps you have found your way here because you are searching for answers.
Or maybe you are living with a chronic illness or bodily symptoms that are causing you distress, and you need help.
Perhaps you've tried other therapies or treatments that aren’t fully helping.
Maybe your distress is psychological?
Or possibly you're here searching for answers for a loved one or friend.

Whatever the reason,  I hope to be able to offer you what you are looking for.

For a long time, I have wanted to bring this dream to life and share the profound magic, wisdom, and intelligence within us all. I experienced this on my journey of healing and recovery four years ago, and I have witnessed many of my clients with all kinds of physical and emotional issues. I am deeply passionate about sharing this into something accessible that can teach you all the tools, techniques, knowledge, and skills and share with you the conditions needed so you have everything possible to heal and recover and grow and thrive into the best you can be.

It's hard to see the path to healing when you are lost in the forest— when you're buried deep in a pit of trauma and chronic stress.

I know how that feels. I understand.

Shalini’s Story

My journey into embodiment psychotherapy started when I noticed the profound effects that teaching yoga on and off the mat had on improving my physical and mental well-being on many levels. At the time, I had been diagnosed with Functional Neurological Disorder, a disorder that changes how the brain works, causing me to feel extreme, unexplainable bouts of fatigue, weakness, sensory issues, balance and movement disorders, etc. I tried other resources before I decided to recover through a holistic lens— healing through the mind-body connection. I am deeply interested and passionate about this field of somatic embodiment because it allowed me to regain control over my body and mind. Allowing me to thrive after a very tumultuous time in my health journey. I aim to share this knowledge with others to help them free themselves from their trauma and suffering.

Whatever that looks and feels like for you. Maybe a recent diagnosis, chronic pain and fatigue, burnout, trauma and stress have taken their toll. It may feel that you may have nothing around you but a pit of darkness, lost and with no way out, not knowing which direction to take or where to turn.

In my own healing and recovery journey, I certainly felt like that, but just as there is post-traumatic stress, so too is there post-traumatic growth. I've arrived with the wisdom and growth to help guide you out of those woods into the infinite potential of healing and recovery.

Can you trust that there is a way out of the woods? Trust that just as there is illness, so too is there recovery? Just as there is dark, so too is there light, and just as there is suffering, so too is there growth.

And so, too, have you arrived here.

So, for those of you lost in the dark forest, I ask you to look up, notice the light, and stay focused on the sky that flickers through the branches. To breathe. Allow yourself to know that this moment will pass and that you will once again be able to find joy, peace, and growth.

Let us find our way through the forest and into the light together.

So, for now, I welcome you to look around and come back as I begin to add more resources. Hopefully, there will be something you can take away to support you as I find more ways of helping you.

You are on the right path,

Shalini
